Ok this one has a huge backstory, especially as this scene is set at the end of the story. Irutha and her group have made it to the library. Broen is critically injured but determined to see this through, while Makrie has no idea what’s coming (well none of them do except Irutha). The drones in the background (i.e. the pigeons) are just for show – everyone knows that Irutha can’t be stopped now. She’s going to use the Inserendis weapon to make her ending for this world. Yeah, lots of drama and weird concepts! Remind me I have no idea how to draw injured people hahaha, that’s why it looks like Broen doesn’t have a scratch on him, when he’s supposed to be half dead…

Couch Hogger
Ris being silly while Irutha is infinitely tolerant, even while her arm is totally squished. It’s funny, I’ve tried to not have mobile phones in my drawings because I feel like it heavily dates the drawing to current times instead of some nondescript fantasy timeline but it just seemed right that she would be playing a phone game in that position, so here we are!
Drones Up in the Sky
A group picture where I chickened out of the background! Yay! lol. I am definitely still not ready to take on a perspective background, though I did think about how George St looks in Sydney. I also feel like now I’ve definitely drawn enough of some of my characters that I no longer need their face in the shot, so this not-face angle of Irutha was fun to draw! I still have no idea what Broen’s costume is or what colour his hair should be!
Coffee Break (in the park)
Whoops, I gave two different drawings in a short span of time the same title! With the same characters!
This is a redraw of a 2015 picture, but again, everything is so much better this time around. Ristrel has ditched the muffin for a coffee lol.

I really need to practice perspective lines! But I’m happy with how Ris and Irutha turned out, and that’s what’s important to me.
I loved my original picture back in 2015 too, but I wanted to do a redraw of it, which turned out well enough for me to polish!
