Ok this one has a huge backstory, especially as this scene is set at the end of the story. Irutha and her group have made it to the library. Broen is critically injured but determined to see this through, while Makrie has no idea what’s coming (well none of them do except Irutha). The drones in the background (i.e. the pigeons) are just for show – everyone knows that Irutha can’t be stopped now. She’s going to use the Inserendis weapon to make her ending for this world. Yeah, lots of drama and weird concepts! Remind me I have no idea how to draw injured people hahaha, that’s why it looks like Broen doesn’t have a scratch on him, when he’s supposed to be half dead…

Drones Up in the Sky
A group picture where I chickened out of the background! Yay! lol. I am definitely still not ready to take on a perspective background, though I did think about how George St looks in Sydney. I also feel like now I’ve definitely drawn enough of some of my characters that I no longer need their face in the shot, so this not-face angle of Irutha was fun to draw! I still have no idea what Broen’s costume is or what colour his hair should be!
Pigeon!!!
Haha, this isn’t about my actual pigeons. It’s inspired by The Pigeon by Patrick Suskind and also Drones by grandson. Moosh those to together, and you have the idea that Irutha and Merisde are in a room, discussing their latest mission over tea, and then from the corner of their eye, they see a pigeon head poking around at the window. There are no real pigeons; all pigeons are government drones. The sight of this pigeon spells immediate danger for the two, so they drop what they’re doing, yell out, “pigeon!!!” and make a mad dash for escape.
Except I couldn’t get that image on paper because I lack artistic ability, so this was the next best drawable scene I could think of – and even then I needed the help of google to learn how people look when they’re running.
