I’ve been too afraid to try this drawing even though I’ve wanted to for a while. There’s this fear that I won’t capture his likeness, and the main mission – drawing hands! These hands are hard! But it’s a style of hands that I’ve not drawn before and it was my main focus.

He was wearing this jumper the other day, how could I not? I had this saved as a pic I wanted to study. But ugh it’s so hard. I didn’t class it as a speed sketch and didn’t time it, it came out poorer than I expected. BUT I MUST POST MY FAILURES AND MY SUCCESSES.
This one was WAY too hard. I picked it for the interesting lighting since it’s not anything I’ve done before, but OMG. It’s too hard. I chose a pic with far too many details too, so this is as good as it’s gonna get. The eyes are wrong toooooooo
