The reason I found out about Our Flag Means Death is because one of the artists I follow started drawing lots of fanart and then also said it helped with her art block. Turns out it’s true! After sketching so much I managed to finally churn out this “official” Preaura costume!

Ever since her inception I wanted a kimono on her, but never really got the hang of drawing anything that looked remotely fitting. Even after I bought myself two kimonos, I still couldn’t get it right (though I did get close with the cloud kimono I gave her in Deadly Patience).

Turns out Ed/Stede’s pink gown is extremely inspirational, and I reckon it helped get this design going. I’m so happy with it!

Compare this to the very original version I drew of her. It’s amazing that I kept everything the same pretty much!
