Avocado plant progress

They're both still alive! But they seem to have brownish leaves. I don't think I've been over-watering them since I only let them get rained on once a week - two weeks or so.

Some avocados I bought a while back ended up not going soft after a week, and when I finally cut into them, they looked like they were trying to sprout, so I looked after them and they started growing!That one is the "bigger" sibling. It has big, bright green leaves.This is the younger sibling. It took longer to sprout; I had to peel away the shell of the seed. It's got a slightly thicker stem and possibly the same height or marginally taller, but smaller and darker leaves.I hope these grow up OK... unless I get bored first!
